Psychiatry; a Tool to Silence

Denis Mackie threw the Dyson vacum cleaner at my head as I lay sleeping in my bed, splitting my head open he was a binge drinker and became more violent under the influence of alcohol. I had gone to bed to avoid confrontation, I had learned from experience to get out of the way as his drinking progressed.

On that night getting out of the way was not enough, the attack caused a head injury with a deep laceration and concussion resulting in an overnight stay in hospital. This was not the first time I had endured such an attack from Denis Mackie it was of many resulting a broken finger, bruised ribs , black eyes, kicked, punched, being physically dragged and hair pulled out the roots. http://www.wisegeek.com/why-do-women-return-to-abusive-relationships.htm

According to statistics, the average abused woman leaves her abuser seven to eight times before she leaves permanently and I was no exception. It took a further two years before I finally mustered the courage – and then only under duress, in fear of my life. I left him after he attacked me again whilst I was photo copying important documents to send to the Law Society in order to prove fraud relating to my late brother’s estate. The hate that I felt that night from him was overpowering. I was petrified and I felt sure he would have killed me if I had not fled my home – this was the final straw. Fortunately, I had my wits about me and made a narrow escape into the night, dressed only in my pyjamas. Victims of abuse often live in a state of fear, confusion, and overwhelming sadness. To make a successful and permanent separation from an abuser, a woman needs support and easy access to organisations, this was not available to me. The authorities that should have been there to protect my daughter and me let us down in every way. We became the hunted.

The following documents give an indication as to how Denis Mackie and his cohorts were able to use psychiatry as a tool in order to silence and discredit me. The abuse of my human rights is continuing today through malfeasance and misfeasance, as there is documented proof of collaboration between the Scottish authorities and Shropshire Council with continued harassment, abuse of process, lies and deception

Denis Mackie’s lies it seems were eventually accepted at face value by psychiatrists, doctors, lawyers, police and social services, giving no credence to document (2); the CICA reports and Hollie’s evidence.

With this my complaint process ground to a halt in Scotland. By law, my sectioning papers should have been on file with the Commission, there was no record of my being taken from my home to Cornhill hospital!…Why?

This document show details of telephone communications between Scotland and Shropshire Council, with whom I had no dealings up to and at this time. It was noted that names had been deliberately deleted. I fled Scotland with the ‘confidential assistance’ of ENABLE, Women’s Aid and Dr Jack Boyle, but somehow my whereabouts were revealed, even though up to and at this time I had no contact with Shropshire Council or any GP in the area. The harassment continues.
